"It's a SMALL WORLD afterall"
Arloz! Back again... S'pore is such a small place!!! Today, during CL 'A" tutorial, my chinese teacher, Mdm Lai,wuz talking abt her brother when she mentioned his name.. and i realised, that brother she is talking abt wuz someone frm church!! This uncle that was pretty close to my parents, apparently. I knew the name sounded familiar. Secondly, today's time table wuz so that i had 4 hours straight break and after that the whole afternoon of non-stop tutorials after tutorials. Such wuz the case that i hadn eaten since morning by the time i went to CNNY at 5 plus. I was REALLy hungry. Finally, unable to continue without food, i told the teacher that i really need to find food. The teacher, Ms Fong (feng lao shi la.) was shocked when i told her i hadn eaten and she said she had cornflakes at her office. So i went with her to the staff room, or rather, the outside of the staff room while she got me food. It was the best best cornflakes i ever tasted. haha... i never liked sweet cornflakes, but this time it tasted heavenly. Anyway, she sat down with me, and over the milos she made for the both of us, we started talking abt this and that. The topic finally got to her ex-JC, HCJC, apparently. Haha... so i wuz saying, Ya, HC quite nice and stuff. She continued by saying that her younger brother also from HC, and he had just graduated and went into NS. This sounded quite like Chia Yi, so i asked him wad year he wuz from. Guessing correctly that i noe someone near that batch, she asked for my fren's combi. Apparently, the two of them (Chia Yi and her bro.) shared the exact same combi, but Chia Yi shld be a year his senior. So she asked me his name, and she said she got hear before... so coincidental lor.... I'm gonna ask Chia Yi the next time i see him. =) So we continued chatting (haha... wad happened to the cca...) and talked abt her HC stuff and how i found NY etc, then Mr Tong and Ms Cara Chew happen to pass by and Ms Cara Chew gave me her bright smile. Mr Tong seemed a little suprised that i seemed to get along so well with Feng laoshi. Haha. Den Wu laoshi came up the stairs and said "Feng lao shi, you drinking tea with your student huh?" Then she gave me her warm warm smile All these teachers are so nice lor... nothing to say. =P Joyce at 9:15 PM
